Nerdwriter analyses Spielberg's sound design

In my opinion, Spielberg scenes are about as good as it gets. His understanding of the language of film is profound. Here, Nerdwriter takes a look at a scene from Munich.

As a side note, there is a lot of fun stuff on this channel from film and art to science and politics. And if you are interested in informational videos, reverse engineering the work of Nerdwriter would be a good place to start.

Tomorrow's Filmmakers: different types of shots

It's important to all be speaking the same language. Time is always precious when communicating on set, and being able to use shorthand to communicate with the crew starts with having a common language.

In your analysis, a good practice would be to describe shots using common shot terms. So for example instead of "we see what the character is seeing when looking across the room" ... just write "POV" (Point Of View)
